NADRA Updates B-Form Fee Structure

NADRA Updates B-Form Fee Structure

ISLAMABAD (AIA) The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has revised the fee structure for the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-form, effective December 2024. The regular processing fee remains Rs 50, while the fee for expedited service has been set at Rs 500.
This initiative is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to streamline child registration and ensure the inclusion of minors in Pakistan’s national database.
To apply for the B-form, parents are required to submit a computerised birth certificate issued by the relevant Union Council. At least one parent must hold a valid National Identity Card (NIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
In cases where only one parent is available, verification from a gazetted officer or a public representative—such as an MNA, MPA, or municipal official—is mandatory. For children aged 10 and above, both a photograph and fingerprints are required.
NADRA advises parents to register their children within three months of birth to ensure timely and accurate inclusion in the database. The simplified registration process and updated fee structure aim to make child registration more accessible for families across Pakistan.
