ISLAMABAD (AIA) Thousands gathered at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) on Saturday to celebrate EU-Pakistan friendship at EuroVillage 2025, a festival promoting cultural exchange and cooperation between Europe and Pakistan.
Organised by the Delegation of the European Union in collaboration with EU member states, the event provided residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi with an opportunity to experience European culture and heritage.
European Union Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Riina Kionka highlighted the significance of embracing diverse cultures, noting that Europe’s rich traditions and identities form the foundation of shared values and global partnerships, including with Pakistan. These activities highlighted the positive impact of EU initiatives on Pakistani communities.
Co-organised by the EU Delegation and 24 EU member states, EuroVillage 2025 reinforced the strong ties between Europe and Pakistan, underscoring their shared commitment to mutual growth and cooperation under the theme “Stronger Together.”
