
Ministry Hosts First Hajj Training Session in Islamabad
— January 23, 2025ISLAMABAD (AIA) The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Thursday inaugurated the first Hajj training workshop at the Haji Camp Islamabad to equip pilgrims with essential knowledge and preparation for the upcoming pilgrimage.
A ministry spokesperson revealed that over 500 aspiring pilgrims from Islamabad and surrounding regions attended the inaugural session. The workshop aims to provide detailed briefings on administrative procedures and the rituals of Hajj.
Pilgrims are being trained through audiovisual tools, including presentations and videos, to ensure a thorough understanding of the pilgrimage process. The Pak Hajj mobile application is also playing a vital role, offering interactive features such as a Hajj guidebook, presentations, and instructional videos.
The first phase of the training will continue at the tehsil level nationwide until February 27, with the second phase scheduled to begin after Ramadan.
Pilgrims are encouraged to stay informed about training schedules via the Pak Hajj mobile app, the ministry’s official website, or their respective Haji Camps. The ministry expressed confidence that this initiative will ensure a seamless and well-informed pilgrimage experience for all participants.
