President Prorogues Joint Session of Parliament Until Further Notice

ISLAMABAD (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday prorogued the joint session of Parliament, which was scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 18 February, for an indefinite period.

The session of the Majlis-e-Shura (Parliament) was initially convened on 24 January 2025 under Article 54(1) of the Constitution. However, the president has now formally prorogued the session, with no new date announced.
